Review Policy

At this time, I don’t accept review requests anymore. I have too many books waiting for me to be read and review. Thank you for your understanding.

My rating goes from 1 star reviews to 5 stars and I will always explain my thoughts, but the reviews will not contain spoilers. But if there are spoilers – when I review a series – the readers will be warned beforehand. I hate reading spoilers myself.

Along with my reviews posted on Hot Stuff Book Reviews, I will post the length of the book, the genre and category, the publisher if there is one and link to goodreads. I will also post my reviews on goodreads and amazon.com.

All my reviews are honest, reflect only my opinion and are as detailed as possible.

I review self-published, indie and traditionally published books.

My favorite genres and categories:

° New Adult
° Young Adult
° Adult
° Erotica
° Contemporary Romance

I also enjoy fantasy, fantastic and science fiction books from time to time, but I prefer contemporary novels.

!! I don’t review short-stories. !!

* I’m not paid to review books. I always mention when I receive a book to review, but in no way does it influence my reviews.

    Hi,

I just wanted to give you a heads up since you reviewed my first book, KNOCK OUT.

My latest release, OUT FOR THE COUNT, is now available on Netgalley. (Link: OUT FOR THE COUNT NETGALLEY)

It’s an MMA sports romance about how, for female MMA fighter, Huntley Rey Wittaker, shedding her sweet, all-American, good-girl persona means kicking some ass, starting with the bearded, broken-nosed, leather clad biker’s, the only candidate whose shown up to train her. This mega Alpha male’s fists might be lethal—and the perfect tool to help perfect her punch. But his lips will, without a doubt, knock her out for the count.

    Blurb:

Bracken Kelly is a hardass. An undercover narcotics detective who’s gotten in too deep with a biker crew and landed himself in big trouble with Internal Affairs. Posing as a boxer and uncovering the meth being run out of Reno’s toughest underground MMA fight club is the only way to clear his name, but he’ll need to convince a female featherweight with a smart mouth and a hotter body to let him train her, first.

Huntley Wittaker left a lot behind when she moved to Reno—her family business, her overprotective brothers, her psychopathic ex-boyfriend and her Southern Belle persona. In Nevada, she can be whatever she wants to be. And what Huntley wants to be is a fighter. All she needs is the right trainer. The domineering brute of a biker who answers her ad isn’t it, but he’s all she’s got.

Bracken has a job to do and this time, he plans on succeeding, even if that means getting sweaty with Huntley outside of the ring. But as he and Huntley grow closer and Bracken’s lies turn into truths, they’ll be faced with a different kind of fight—the one for each other.

OUT FOR THE COUNT will be available December 8, 2014. It’s book three in the Worth the Fight series, published by Carina Press.

    Best,

    Michele Mannon
